How to Play
Make predictions, build streaks, and climb the leaderboard.
Pick your game mode
BW Challenge has three free-to-play prediction modes. Each one rewards a different style of football fan — pick the one that fits how you like to play.
BW5000 — The Weekly Showdown
Predict every score across 5 featured matches and chase the headline weekly prize pool.
BW5000 is our flagship weekly contest. Each gameweek we hand-pick 5 high-profile fixtures from the top European leagues and Champions League. Your job is to predict the exact final score for every match — the closer your card, the higher you climb.
Step
- 1
Predict 5 exact scores
Pick the final score for each of the 5 featured matches in the active gameweek. You can change your picks any time before the deadline.
- 2
Set your first-goal minute
Choose the minute (1–90) you think the very first goal of the gameweek will be scored across all 5 matches combined. This is your tie-breaker.
- 3
Submit before kick-off
Slips lock 30 minutes before the first match kicks off. Late or partial slips do not enter the leaderboard for that week.
- 4
Play extra slips for an edge
Slip 1 is always free. Unlock slips 2 and 3 for 1,000 coins each to spread your predictions across multiple scenarios and multiply your chances.
Rules
- All 5 scores must be filled — empty matches invalidate the slip.
- First-minute-to-score is required and accepts values from 1 to 90.
- Only your final submitted slip counts before the lock.
Rewards
- Exact score on every match earns the headline weekly jackpot.
- Tie-breakers go to the closest first-goal-minute prediction.
- Top finishers also climb the seasonal leaderboard for long-term rewards.
BW500 — Daily Deep-Dive
One featured match. Four predictions. Pick everything from the score to the player to score.
BW500 zooms in on a single high-profile match each day. Instead of breadth, you go deep: predict the final score, who scores first, who the player to score is, and the minute it happens.
Step
- 1
Predict the final score
Set the home and away scores for the featured match. A 0-0 prediction skips the next steps automatically.
- 2
Pick the first team to score
Choose which side will score the very first goal of the match.
- 3
Choose the player to score
Pick the player you think will score. Lineups update closer to kick-off — adjust if you spot a change.
- 4
Guess the first-minute-to-score
Predict the minute (1–90) the first goal is scored. Submit before kick-off to lock the slip.
Rules
- All 4 picks must be filled (unless a 0-0 score skips downstream steps).
- Edits are unlimited until the kick-off lock — your last submission counts.
- Slips submitted after kick-off are not eligible for points.
Rewards
- Each correct pick earns points; the exact score is worth the most.
- Stack consecutive correct slips to grow a daily streak bonus.
- BW500 results feed both the daily and seasonal leaderboards.
Quick Play — Predict on Your Terms
Browse any open match, predict the score, and lock it in before kick-off.
Quick Play is the most flexible mode. Whenever a fixture is open for predictions, you can jump in, set a score, choose the first team to score, and submit. Great for casual play or for fixtures you have a strong read on.
Step
- 1
Pick a match
Browse the open Quick Play list and select any upcoming fixture you want to predict.
- 2
Predict the score
Use the +/− steppers to set the home and away final scores.
- 3
Choose the first team to score
Pick the side you think scores first. This is skipped automatically when you predict 0-0.
- 4
Submit before kick-off
Each match locks at its own kick-off time. You can predict as many matches as you like — they're all independent.
Rules
- Each match is independent — you can play one or many in the same day.
- Predictions lock at the match's individual kick-off time.
- Empty or invalid predictions are not submitted.
Rewards
- Exact score is the highest-value pick.
- Correct outcome (W/D/W) earns partial points.
- Points contribute to both the Quick Play and seasonal leaderboards.
How scoring works
Every mode rewards exact scores most heavily, with partial points for getting the result right (Win / Draw / Win) and additional bonuses for first-team-to-score, first scorer, and first-minute-to-score predictions. Specific point values can change per competition — always check the active challenge for the latest values.
Exact score
Predict the exact final score and earn the maximum points for the match.
Win / Draw / Win
Get the result right (correct winner or draw) without nailing the exact score and earn partial points.
First-team-to-score
Pick the team that opens the scoring for an additional bonus.
First-minute-to-score
The closest first-goal-minute prediction wins tie-breakers and earns proximity-based bonus points.
